Job summary

Match Retail in Digby, NS is seeking Merchandising Contractors to join our team for flexible, independent work throughout Canada. This role offers 1–2 hours per month in November and December with a competitive hourly rate and the autonomy of an IC position.

You’ll visit stores to ensure shelf presence, install promotional signage, stock capsules for tasting, and report insights to the Nespresso team. A valid driver’s license and access to a car are required, plus ability to self-manage

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable car.
• Strong customer focus and ability to foster lasting relationships and convey brand messages.
• Good problem solving and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and friendly.
• Ability to self-manage remotely.
• Must have access to a smartphone with data to upload pictures and fill out reports.
• Some physical labor required (up to 50lbs).

Responsibilities

• Ensure shelf presence of all SKUs listed by POS.
• Install and tear down promotional signage in POS according to national plan.
• Ensure negotiated footprint is respected.
• Manage machine stock in stores to ensure assortment and minimize out-of-stocks.
• Update expired capsule sampler packs and coffee supply for tasting.
• Merchandise display machines and stock per brand guidelines.
• Clean and organize the Nespresso area including machines, displays and tasting station.
• Provide comprehensive reporting, including action items and recommendations, on each store visit to the Nespresso team.
• Be a Brand Ambassador for Nespresso in all assigned retail stores.

We work with our clients, Nespresso, and service major retailers.
