Job summary

La Vie en Rose in Laval, QC is seeking a dedicated team member for a permanent, full-time store role. You will be responsible for receiving and organizing merchandise, keeping backstores tidy and ready for transfers, and delivering excellent customer service.

You should enjoy physical work, be organized and autonomous, and be willing to work holidays and longer hours during busy periods. A values-driven, community-focused environment offers growth opportunities in a family-owned business.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check merchandise and keep backstore organized.
• Ensure receipts/shipments are labeled and errors identified.
• Label merchandise with correct prices and adjust as needed.
• Prepare products for transfer to other stores or distribution centre.
• Stock the sales floor efficiently and maintain a clean backstore.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow company policies.
• Perform other duties to support the team.

WHAT A TYPICAL WORKDAY LOOKS LIKE

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for receiving and checking merchandise, as well as keeping the backstore well organized. In order to perform well

in your role, you will need to:

• Make sure merchandise receipts and shipment orders are properly organized and accounted for while identifying any potential errors;
• Ensure all merchandise is labelled with the right price and correct if necessary;
• Prepare products for transfer to other stores or to the distribution centre as quickly as possible;
• Place products on the sales floor efficiently;
• Maintain a clean and organized backstore;
• Provide excellent customer service;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedure of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team
