Job summary

La Vie en Rose, a proudly local retailer, is hiring for a permanent, full-time position in Quebec. The role focuses on receiving and checking merchandise, maintaining backstore organization, and ensuring accurate pricing.

You will contribute to a busy retail environment, support store operations, and participate in company initiatives. Ideal candidates are comfortable with physical work, highly organized, autonomous, and able to handle goods.

• Experience handling goods is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check merchandise and keep the backstore organized.
• Ensure merchandise receipts and shipment orders are properly organized and accounted for.
• Label products with correct prices and adjust if necessary.
• Prepare products for transfer to other stores or distribution centre.
• Place products on the sales floor efficiently and maintain a clean backstore.
• Respect and apply policies from head office departments.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the team.

WHAT A TYPICAL WORKDAY LOOKS LIKE

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for receiving and checking merchandise, as well as keeping the backstore well organized. In order to perform well

in your role, you will need to:

• Make sure merchandise receipts and shipment orders are properly organized and accounted for while identifyi n g any potential errors;
• Ensure all merchandise is labelled with the right price and correct if necessary;
• Prepare products for transfer to other stores or to the distribution centre as quickly as possible;
• Place products on the sales floor efficiently;
• Maintain a clean and organized backstore;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedure of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.
