Job summary

La Vie en Rose in Timmins, Ontario is seeking a permanent, part-time team member to support stock handling, merchandising and customer service at our store.

You will receive and check merchandise, label prices, prepare transfers, restock shelves, and ensure a clean backstore while delivering friendly service and upholding company policies.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check merchandise and maintain accurate records.
• Label prices and adjust if needed to reflect correct pricing.
• Prepare products for transfer to other stores or the distribution centre.
• Restock shelves and keep the backstore organized and clean.
• Provide excellent customer service and answer shopper questions.
• Respect and apply head office policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties to support the team as required.

WHAT A TYPICAL WORKDAY LOOKS LIKE

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for receiving and checking merchandise, as well as keeping the backstore well organized. In order to perform well

in your role, you will need to:

• Make sure merchandise receipts and shipment orders are properly organized and accounted for while identifying any potential errors;
• Ensure all merchandise is labelled with the right price and correct if necessary;
• Prepare products for transfer to other stores or to the distribution centre as quickly as possible;
• Place products on the sales floor efficiently;
• Maintain a clean and organized backstore;
• Provide excellent customer service;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedure of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.

PERMANENT, PART TIME

HOURLY SALARY : 18,06$ - 19,35$
