Job summary

Hillcrest Mall in Richmond, BC is seeking a permanent, part-time store associate. The role offers an hourly wage of 18.25–19.70 CAD, with flexible hours and a strong employee discount.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive and check merchandise and keep the backstore organized.
• Ensure receipts and shipment orders are organized and errors are identified.
• Label merchandise with the correct price and adjust as needed.
• Prepare products for transfer to other stores or the distribution centre.
• Place products on the sales floor efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized backstore.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Respect and apply head office policies and procedures.

WHAT A TYPICAL WORKDAY LOOKS LIKE

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for receiving and checking merchandise, as well as keeping the backstore well organized. In order to perform well

in your role, you will need to:

• Make sure merchandise receipts and shipment orders are properly organized and accounted for while identifying any potential errors;
• Ensure all merchandise is labelled with the right price and correct if necessary;
• Prepare products for transfer to other stores or to the distribution centre as quickly as possible;
• Place products on the sales floor efficiently;
• Maintain a clean and organized backstore;
• Provide excellent customer service;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedure of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we'll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.
