Job summary

La Vie en Rose in Edmonton is seeking a part-time team member to assist with receiving and restocking merchandise in a fast-paced retail environment.

Under store management supervision, you will ensure accurate pricing, proper labeling, and organized backroom operations while supporting the sales floor and customer service. This permanent, part-time role includes a competitive discount, flexible hours, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to perform physical tasks and lift merchandise.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and use good judgment.
• Experience handling goods is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check incoming merchandise and keep backstore organized.
• Ensure merchandise is priced and labeled correctly.
• Prepare products for transfer to other stores or distribution center.
• Place products on the sales floor efficiently and neatly.
• Maintain a clean and organized backstore area.
• Follow head office policies and procedures.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.

WHAT A TYPICAL WORKDAY LOOKS LIKE

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for receiving and checking merchandise, as well as keeping the backstore well organized. In order to perform well

in your role, you will need to:

• Make sure merchandise receipts and shipment orders are properly organized and accounted for while identifyi n g any potential errors;
• Ensure all merchandise is labelled with the right price and correct if necessary;
• Prepare products for transfer to other stores or to the distribution centre as quickly as possible;
• Place products on the sales floor efficiently;
• Maintain a clean and organized backstore;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedure of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.
