Job summary

La Vie en Rose in Red Deer is seeking a permanent, part-time sales associate to help customers find lingerie, sleepwear and swimwear, explain product features, and contribute to a welcoming shopping environment. Under store management, you will greet customers warmly, assist with fit guidance, process transactions, keep the sales floor tidy, and strive to meet personal sales goals.

Bilingual ability is an asset.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience is preferred.
• Love for clothing that celebrates feel-good femininity (lingerie, sleepwear, swimwear).
• Strong customer service and proactive work ethic.
• Willingness to work holidays and longer hours during busy periods.
• Bilingualism is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Give a warm welcome to every customer who enters the store.
• Help customers find products and explain features, materials and fit.
• Make yourself available in fitting rooms and share top picks with customers.
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals with the training provided.
• Keep the store and backstore clean and tidy at all times.
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process transactions.
• Respect and apply head office policies and procedures; perform other duties to support the team.

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for assisting and advising customers while working to maximize sales. Here’s how:

• Give a warm welcome to every customer who comes into the store;
• Help them find everything they’re looking for—answer their questions, explain the products (quality, materials, technical features) and suggest other products they might like;
• Make yourself available when customers are in the fitting room;
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals (our training will help you get there!);
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor to provide a memorable shopping experience;
• Ensure everything is clean and tidy in the store and backstore;
• Be on the lookout for new products so you can share your top picks with your customers;
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process their transactions;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.
