Job summary

La Vie en Rose in West Edmonton Mall is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to welcome customers, answer questions, and help shoppers find the perfect lingerie, sleepwear, or swimwear. You’ll contribute to a friendly, fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities include delivering excellent service, meeting sales goals, maintaining store presentation, processing transactions at the register, and supporting the team during busy periods. Flexibility for holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Sales experience preferred.
• Interest in clothing that celebrates feel-good femininity.
• Good listening skills and customer-focused approach.
• Willingness to work holidays and longer hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Give a warm welcome to every customer entering the store.
• Help customers find products, explain features, and suggest alternatives.
• Assist in fitting rooms and provide attentive service.
• Meet and strive to exceed personal sales goals.
• Stage products on the sales floor for a great shopping experience.
• Keep store and backroom areas clean and organized.
• Monitor new products and share top picks with customers.
• Accompany customers to checkout and process transactions.
• Follow head office policies and procedures as explained.
• Contribute to other duties to support the team.

What a typical workday looks like

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for assisting and advising customers while working to maximize sales. Here’s how:

• Give a warm welcome to every customer who comes into the store;
• Help them find everything they’re looking for—answer their questions, explain the products (quality, materials, technical features) and suggest other products they might like;
• Make yourself available when customers are in the fitting room;
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals (our training will help you get there!);
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor to provide a memorable shopping experience;
• Ensure everything is clean and tidy in the store and backstore;
• Be on the lookout for new products so you can share your top picks with your customers;
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process their transactions;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.
