Job summary

The Glendale Golf & Country Club in Edmonton is seeking a Member Services Specialist for a seasonal full-time position. The role focuses on delivering outstanding service to members and guests, handling bag storage, the driving range, and power cart operations, and maintaining club cleanliness.

Ideal candidates will have prior customer-service experience, the ability to lift and move equipment, and a willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service is considered an asset.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as operating power carts and lifting range ball bins, golf bags, and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all Members and guests, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
• Manage the storage of golf bags, ensure they are cleaned, stored securely, and retrieved promptly for Members and guests.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the driving range, including picking and washing balls, range tee area, and staging accessories.
• Operate and maintain power carts, ensuring they are in good working order, cleaned, staged, and available for use by Members and guests.
• Clean and maintain all areas of the Club, including staging area, driving range, cart barn, bag room, and lunchroom.
• Ensure all surfaces are kept clean and free from dirt, dust, and debris.
• Remove trash and recycling from the Clubhouse areas on a regular basis.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including using protective equipment and following proper cleaning procedures.
• Work effectively as part of a team, assisting other staff members as required.
