Job summary

The Dunes Golf & Winter Club is seeking a Golf Operations Assistant to support daily pro shop, tee-sheet management, tournaments, leagues, and member service.

You will work in person at Grande Prairie, handling POS operations, event setup, and guest experiences, with opportunities to assist Golf Professionals and uphold club standards.

Strong customer service and multitasking abilities, plus availability evenings and weekends, are essential.

Qualifications

• Customer-service or hospitality experience required.
• Class A Golf Professional is an asset
• Previous golf course experience is an asset
• Knowledge of golf rules is an asset but not mandatory
• Strong communication and ability to multitask
• Availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily opening/closing procedures of the pro shop.
• Manage tee sheet, bookings, cancellations, and payments.
• Provide outstanding customer service to members and guests.
• Support merchandising (stocking, displays, inventory counts).
• Operate POS system; reconcile cash and end-of-day reports.
• Assist in preparing scorecards, signage, prizing for events.
• Help set up and execute corporate tournaments and club events.
• Provide customer support during events.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism and service.
• Support Golf Professionals with administrative tasks as needed.
• Uphold club policies, safety expectations, and service standards.

The Golf Operations Assistant supports the daily operations of The Dunes Golf & Winter Club and plays a key role in delivering exceptional member and guest experiences. This role assists with pro-shop operations, tee-sheet management, tournaments, leagues, customer service, and ensures the golf experience runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Golf & Pro Shop Operations

• Assist with daily opening/closing procedures of the pro shop.
• Manage tee sheet, bookings, cancellations, and payments.
• Provide outstanding customer service to members and guests.
• Support merchandising (stocking, displays, inventory counts).
• Operate POS system; reconcile cash and end-of-day reports.

Events & Leagues Support

• Assist in preparing scorecards, signage, prizing.
