Job summary

Alberta Motor Association is seeking a friendly, proactive Member Services team member in Calgary. You will assist members with retail items, memberships and basic travel products, delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced, in-office environment.

The role requires 1–2 years of retail or administrative experience, strong communication skills, and an updated PIC. AMA offers competitive wages, discounts, benefits and extensive learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old with a high school diploma.
• Updated Police Information Check (PIC) required.
• 1–2 years of retail and/or administrative experience.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Sales or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and support to AMA members and promote AMA products/services.
• Complete membership, basic registry and entry-level travel product transactions accurately and confidentially.
• Engage members to determine their needs and process retail transactions in centers (membership, gift cards, passes, registrations, etc.).
• Provide back-up for Member Services Coordinators and assist with admin tasks.
• Assist with hold support, inventory, cash out and other duties as assigned.
• Assess member needs and match to the appropriate representative for the required product/service.
