Job summary

Coast Capital is seeking a Member Advice Specialist for the Sidney Branch. You will greet customers and assist with everyday banking needs, while promoting our product and service offerings.

Responsibilities include handling personal credit needs, investments, term deposits, setting up internet banking, opening chequing accounts, and adding overdraft protection to avoid NSF charges. A sales orientation and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have Certificate in Investment Funds in Canada or equivalent (required at time of application).
• Experience helping members in a bank or credit union for a minimum of three years, preferably with lending and investments.
• Strong ability to promote products and services to members.
• Education in finance, business administration or related field; eager to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality customer experiences in branch banking.
• Identify sales and referral opportunities to propose appropriate products and services.
• Engage in a team-based environment to meet policies and regulatory requirements.
• Proactively offer helpful banking solutions and alternatives to member inquiries.
• Aim for high performance by meeting sales and referral targets.
