Job summary

Access Credit Union in Winnipeg is seeking a conscientious Member Service Representative to deliver high-quality financial services at the counter, process transactions, and build lasting member relationships while promoting the credit union's products and services.

The role emphasizes cross-selling, teamwork, security awareness, and excellent member care within a friendly branch environment. Starting salary is CAD 39,000 with a band of CAD 37,752–46,258 and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
• Business Administration or related post-secondary education would be an asset.
• Minimum 1 year of customer/member service experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to identify and act upon sales opportunities.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Process over the counter financial services in an efficient and professional manner, referring more complex issues as needed.
• Balance transactions including ATM, night deposits and cash drawer daily.
• Respond to member inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Promote Access Credit Union products and services to members.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and risk management; adhere to security procedures.
• Collaborate with teammates to achieve branch goals.
