Job summary

YMCA of Hamilton|Burlington|Brantford is seeking a Part-Time Membership Associate at Flamborough Family YMCA (Waterdown, ON). You will support registration and information services for members and prospective members, with shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities include conducting financial assistance interviews, processing memberships, and delivering exceptional customer service. A Criminal Records Check is required and Avocado software experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Criminal Record Check required.
• College-level education in Marketing or Office Administration preferred.
• 1-3 years of customer service and sales experience.
• Strong problem-solving and mathematical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team player.

Responsibilities

• Serve as information hub and deliver excellent customer service at the member access point.
• Conduct personal financial assistance interviews with confidentiality and sound judgment.
• Assist Membership Manager with membership processes per YMCA HBB standards.
• Process memberships, cancellations, Membership Agreement forms, and branch communications.
• Utilize Avocado Software for member account interpretation and maintenance.
