Medical Secretary – OB/GYN Clinic (Part-Time with Potential for Full-Time)

We are seeking an experienced, organized, and patient-focused individual to join our OB/GYN clinic as a Medical Secretary, starting part-time with the potential to transition to full-time.

Work Schedule
  • Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Start with 3 days per week, with the possibility of increasing to up to 5 days per week
  • Position to begin as soon as the right candidate is identified
Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist patients in a respectful, confidential, and professional manner
  • Schedule, reschedule, and cancel gynecology and obstetrics appointments in accordance with clinic protocols
  • Manage faxing, filing, photocopying, and general front-desk administrative duties
  • Prepare, organize, and manage clinical notes, consultation letters, and referral requests
  • Ensure all new and follow-up appointments (including prenatal and postoperative visits) are booked appropriately
  • Coordinate and organize bookings with the hospital, including operating room (OR) time, hospital-based clinic appointments, and related patient scheduling
  • Liaise with hospital booking offices, nursing units, and administrative staff as required
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient demographics and documentation within the EMR system
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a medical office, preferably an OB/GYN or women’s health clinic
  • Proficiency with computers and EMR apellido
  • Experience with Accuro, Ocean, Meditech Expanse is a strong asset
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well within a team and accept constructive feedback
  • French-speaking is an asset but not required
Training
  • Job-specific training will be provided during a 2-month probationary period, including EMR use, clinic workflows, and basic equipment sterilization as requiredOperacion
Compensation
  • Job Type: Part-time (with potential for full-time)
  • Pay: Starting from $21. intrcoh per hour
