Job summary

Kemptville District Hospital is seeking a Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) to join the Diagnostic Imaging team on a permanent or temporary part-time basis. The position offers a varied role in a rural hospital with a broad regional impact.

Qualifications include an undergraduate Medical Imaging program, registration with the Ontario regulatory college, and CPR. Mammography and bone densitometry credentials are required if those duties are taken on; CT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a recognized undergraduate program in Medical Imaging.
  • Must be registered with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario.
  • Certificate in Breast Imaging – Diagnostic (CBID) if assuming mammogram responsibilities.
  • Certificate in Bone Densitometry Technologist (CBDT) if bone density scanning responsibilities.
  • Minimum of 1 year of full-time or equivalent experience.
  • Current CPR Certification.

Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) – Permanent Part-Time, Temporary Part-Time

KDH is seeking a Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) to join the Diagnostic Imaging team on a Permanent or Temporary Part-Time basis.

Qualifications

  • Certificate in Bone Densitometry Technologist (CBDT) from the International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD) or equivalent required if assuming bone density scanning responsibilities
  • Minimum of 1 year of full time or equivalent experience
  • Experience with performing CT scans (Preferred)
  • Current CPR Certification
Starting Wage:
$36.84/hour
