Job summary

Brant Community Healthcare System is seeking a Medical Radiation Technologist to perform quality diagnostic procedures. You will follow guidelines set by the College of Medical Radiation Technologists and BCHS to ensure safe, accurate imaging across Brantford and Paris sites.

Required CAMRT certification and CMRITO registration; asset for CMRT membership. This role involves flexible shifts, strong teamwork, and commitment to patient care at a community hospital with an equal opportunity ethos.

Qualifications

• CAMRT-certified imaging technologist required.
• Current registration with CMRT of Ontario (CMRITO) required.
• Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists is an asset.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging, you will be responsible for performing quality diagnostic procedures in accordance with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists and Brant Community Healthcare Systems guidelines and procedures.

Education Requirements

• C.A.M.R.T. (or equivalent) trained Medical Radiation Technologist required
• Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) is required
• Current registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologist is an asset

Mandatory Competencies

• Experience working in a fast-paced Imaging Department preferred
• Demonstrated educational and professional involvement as well as a commitment to professional development
• Ability to work accurately under stressful conditions, and meet patient care needs
• Ability to work both independently as well as a part of a team
• Demonstrated technical competence and a commitment to quality patient care
• Excellent demonstrated customer service/communication skills
• Ability to work any shift, including weekends, and be available to take call if scheduled
• Excellent interpersonal and technical skills
• Reliable individual with excellent attendance record and able to work all shifts
