Job summary

Halton Healthcare in Milton, Ontario is seeking a temporary part-time Radiography Technologist to join the MD DI Radiography team. Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic exams per departmental protocols, with training to perform non-contrast CT after hours and on weekends.

The 0.50 FTE position requires rotating 7.5-hour shifts Mon–Sun, with a strong emphasis on patient safety, quality imaging, and collaborative work within a multi-site hospital setting.

• Graduate of approved radiography training program.
• Current CMRT0 registration in good standing with CMRT0.

Job Description

Performs all x-ray exams as per departmental protocols. Includes radiographic, and fluoroscopic examinations; monitoring/adjusting equipment to ensure high quality images and ensure a safe working environment within the department. Will be trained to perform non contrast CT examination for after hours and weekends.

• Graduate of approved training program in Radiography
• Current registration and in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
• Must have the knowledge, skills and judgment as identified in the CMRTO "Essential Competencies" to perform the services and procedures that fall within the scope of practice of the profession
• Ability to organize work, set priorities, manage time effectively and produce accurate results while working autonomously or as a team player
