Job summary

Start date ASAP, day shift with potential weekends/evenings depending on availability. The role requires a college diploma or university degree in Medical Laboratory Science, CMLTO registration, and strong communication within a collaborative team focused on safety, accuracy

Qualifications

• College diploma or University degree in Medical Laboratory Science required.
• CMLTO registered and in good standing.
• Strong communication to relate with a wide variety of people.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team while upholding safety, accuracy and efficiency.
• Good color discrimination and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing.
• Prepare and process samples with accurate labeling and documentation.
• Perform, interpret and release results while ensuring patient confidentiality.
• Identify incidents, participate in corrective action plans, and drive continuous improvement.
• Assist with evaluating and implementing new technology.
• Contribute to problem solving in workflow and organization.
• Maintain adherence to laboratory safety protocols and a clean, organized work environment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.
