Job summary

Strathmore Facilities Management Inc. seeks an experienced mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of gasoline and diesel-powered equipment in our growing operation.

You will handle heavy machinery as well as small engines, perform regular fleet maintenance, manage tool and vehicle inventories, and complete work orders with accuracy. The ideal candidate has a DEP in mechanics or equivalent, 3+ years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• DEP in mechanics or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related mechanical environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong organization and ability to prioritize.
• Self-sufficient with a team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy equipment (tractors, loaders, chippers, bucket trucks).
• Diagnose and repair small engines (chainsaws, lawn mowers, blowers, etc.).
• Perform routine maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
• Complete work orders.
• Plan, prepare, and execute in-house repairs.
• Respond to repair requests as needed.
