Job summary

Berger in Deer Lake Site, Pine Dock, Manitoba, is seeking a Field Equipment Mechanic to maintain John Deere tractors, Volvo loaders, wagons, harrows and vacuum equipment. You will diagnose diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and transmissions while performing preventive maintenance and welding repairs.

This permanent, full-time role offers a daytime schedule with overtime opportunities. Housing and shuttle transportation are available, and tools are provided along with RRSP/TFSA matching,

Qualifications

• Diesel mechanic experience required.
• Welding experience required.
• Mechanical training or equivalent experience.
• Agricultural or heavy equipment experience is an asset.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, inspect, and repair John Deere tractors, Volvo loaders, wagons, harrows, and vacuum equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, and transmission systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, welding repairs, and approved work orders.
• Ensure repairs are completed safely and efficiently.

Work hands-on with John Deere tractors, Volvo loaders, wagons, harrows, and vacuum equipment, performing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting. Job Summary
