Qualifications

• Red Seal Journeyman or actively pursuing it.
• Government Safety Inspection, Air Brake, and Ozone Depletion Prevention certifications.
• Post-secondary training in heavy-duty, automotive, or transport maintenance.
• Valid Class G license with clean driving record (Class 1 w/ Air Brakes a plus).
• Strong mechanical know-how and ability to work independently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy duty trucks and fleet vehicles — engines, brakes, steering, fuel systems
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and safety inspections
• Requisition and track parts to keep repairs moving
• Document work orders accurately for billing, inventory, and KPI tracking
• Mentor apprentices and journeymen as you grow into a senior role
