Tasks and Qualifications

This is what you will do in this role:

• Design complex systems integrating hardware and software
• Prepare material specifications, layouts/drawings, and follow-up
• Recommend ideas for productivity, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction improvements
• Perform technical interchange and knowledge transfer for processes and product applications
• Identify and resolve complex problems using problem-solving skills
• Project engineering and commissioning at customer sites
• Communicate, train, and collaborate with customers on final system design
• Travel up to 25% to customer and Dematic locations

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
• 5+ years of relevant experience, with proven success in key responsibilities; advanced degrees may substitute experience
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software and AutoCAD
• Experience designing structural and header steel solutions for complex material handling systems
• Experience in the material handling/automation industry
• Project-based Mechanical Engineering experience from design to installation
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to delegate effectively
• Understanding of project scheduling and budgeting for Mechanical Engineering
• Ability to lead multiple small or mid-sized projects
