OPENLANE is seeking a Mechanical Service Advisor to coordinate workflow for automotive technicians, source parts, prepare quotes, and manage work orders onsite at Brampton. You’ll be part of an administrative team ensuring on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years as a Service Advisor with strong communication skills and attention to detail, capable of handling multiple requests in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience as an Automotive Service Advisor.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to efficiently respond to various requests at one time.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries, obtaining vehicle and service information, and ensuring customers receive prompt, efficient attention for all contacts and transactions.
• Promotion of OPENLANE's Mechanical services to auction customers, recommending relevant repairs and coordinating repair process upon approval.
• Accurately quote mechanical service repairs, including materials, supplies and labour for dealer, retail and commercial customers.
• Prepare repair orders with descriptions of repairs and services authorized.
• Consult with service technicians regarding diagnostics and status of inspections.
• Complete administrative functions related to shop operation, including quotes, approvals, parts, invoices, AMS data entry.
• Serve as shop liaison for arbitrations with Claims Operations.
