Job summary

Harbinger Network Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead and coordinate mechanical construction projects in the GTA. The role focuses on delivering high-quality work on time and within budget while maintaining strong client relationships.

You will oversee schedules, budgets, bid preparation and contract negotiations, and mentor Coordinators and Estimators. A background in boilers, chillers, HVAC, and sheet metal across commercial, industrial, and institutional retrofit

Qualifications

  • 7–10+ years of mechanical construction experience in ICI projects.
  • Strong knowledge of boilers, chillers, HVAC, and sheet metal.
  • Experience managing commercial, industrial, and institutional retrofit/renovation projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects from award through closeout.
  • Strong understanding of drawings, specs, contracts, and project docs.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to mentor Project Coordinators and Estimators.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and construction management software.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor mechanical project schedules.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets and cost forecasts.
  • Assist in preparing contracts and negotiating changes with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Oversee project execution to ensure quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved.
  • Prepare progress reports and provide regular project updates to clients.
  • Manage monthly progress billings and project financials.
  • Coordinate with field staff, subcontractors, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and resolve project issues while maintaining strong client relationships.
