Tetra Tech Canada Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical/Process (water/wastewater systems, HVAC, plumbing) engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work as part of an engineering consulting team for the design, development and implementation of process systems and building mechanical systems required for municipal facilities such as water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and maintenance buildings.
We work on a wide range of projects including water, solid waste, and general facilities. Our project scope typically includes all associated disciplines for the planning, design, and construction administration of urban, rural, and remote infrastructure for municipalities and First Nations across Western and Northern Canada. Infrastructure includes drinking water/wastewater treatment and conveyance (piping and pumping) systems and facility mechanical HVAC and plumbing systems. The successful candidate would be joining an exciting and fast-paced environment in a growing department.
You will perform a technical role on a wide variety of engineering assignments. Candidates should have a successful track record in working on multidisciplinary infrastructure projects in a team environment.
The team you would be working with is primarily based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, with key clients located in northern Alberta and southern Manitoba. This position is open for remote, hybrid, or in-person workers (Calgary, Edmonton, or Winnipeg offices) however to accommodate client and project site visits remote workers must be based in Alberta or Manitoba.
This position is a permanent full‑time role and will be based in the Winnipeg office and will include work with clients throughout Canada. The successful candidate will report to the M&E manager in Winnipeg.
