TEEMA is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to lead a unionized maintenance team in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and developing skilled trades while driving continuous improvement.

In this role, you will supervise unionized maintenance personnel and contractors, coordinate preventative and routine maintenance with operations, and help maximize equipment reliability while reducing downtime and maintenance costs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience leading trades in a unionized industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
• Proven commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
• Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience planning preventative maintenance and coordinating with operations and maintenance planners.
• Proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft Office.

You'll also mentor and coach employees, promote a strong safety culture, and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and company standards. Success in this role requires strong leadership, organization, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced industrial setting.
