CenterLine (Windsor) Limited is seeking an experienced Mechanical Machine Tool Builder to construct and commission tools and machines according to blueprints, using provided work instructions and part lists. You will report to the Mechanical Build Supervisor in a team that emphasizes safety, quality, and on‑time delivery.

The role requires hands-on machine shop work, setting up lathes and mills, and coordinating with electrical and programming staff to integrate robotic work cells.

Qualifications

• Secondary School Diploma required.
• Mold assembly, tool assembly or tool maintenance experience required.
• A solid understanding of the functionality of welding and metal working equipment is an asset.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to travel in Canada, USA, and Mexico, required.

Responsabilités

• Machine, fit, and assemble component parts and precision tooling, with a focus on quality, accuracy, and timeliness, to build special-purpose machinery, robotic cells, and factory automation projects.
• Provide support in coordinating, as directed and approved by the supervisor, the activities involved in mechanical build, bench assembly, floor assembly, and integration of robotic work cells, ensuring that quality products are built safely, on time, and within budget.
• Set up and operate various machine tools, including manual lathes and small mills, applying knowledge of mechanical mechanisms, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures to support the assembly team.
• Understanding of part development and its application to MIG and resistance spot welding processes.
• Ability to lead and manage projects ranging from small to large in scope and from medium to high in complexity.
