CenterLine (Windsor), Limited is seeking a Mechanical Design Supervisor to lead a flexible design group and interface with Robot Simulation, Controls Design, Detailing, Manufacturing, Project Management, and customers. The role reports to the Mechanical Design Manager.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in design/engineering, a Mechanical Engineering degree or related qualification, and strong leadership and problem-solving skills in a driven, family-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years design/engineering experience.
• Mechanical Engineering degree, Engineering Technology diploma, or skilled trade certificate required.
• Proven time management, planning and leadership capabilities.
• Innovative and creative problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Design Group and interface with Robot Simulation, Controls Design, Detailing, Manufacturing, Project Management, and customers.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration by leading discussions, resolving conflicts, and coordinating stakeholders.
• Drive quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence through problem-solving and standardized workflows.
• Develop and execute project-level resource plans aligned with budgets and strategy.
• Identify and mitigate risks to achieve project objectives.
• Oversee shift handoffs and ensure effective communication and continuity across teams.
• Represent the organization in community outreach and talent development initiatives.

CenterLine Machinery Division requires a self-motivated individual to fill the position of Mechanical Design Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a flexible Design Group, while interfacing with Robot Simulation, Controls Design, Detailing, Manufacturing, Project Management, and customers. This position reports to the Mechanical Design Manager.

• Facilitate design reviews and walkthroughs to ensure alignment with customer requirements, engineering standards, and project objectives.
• Drive resolution of systemic issues to improve quality, process performance, and operational efficiency.
• Support project requirements by ensuring effective collaboration and coordination across cross-functional teams.
• Support process and cycle time validation to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Manage ECNs and support ECR impact investigations.
• Oversee shift handoffs across supervisors and departments to ensure effective communication, work continuity, and alignment on project priorities and issues.
• Professionally represent the organization by supporting community outreach initiatives, fostering talent development through educational programs, and maintaining a strong commitment to internal and external customer satisfaction and respect.

What you need to succeed:

• Minimum 8 years design/engineering experience.
• Mechanical Engineering degree, Mechanical Engineering Technology diploma, or skilled trade. certificate with related machine build experience, required.
• Proven time management, planning and leadership capabilities.
• Innovative and creative problem-solving skills.

Wage Range:

$47.00 - $56.00 hourly
