Job summary

SelectTool is seeking an automated machine builder to assemble, commission, and troubleshoot a variety of equipment including Special Machines, Secondary Equipment, Assembly Automation, and Robotic Cells. The role reports to the Automation Machine Build Leader and requires hands-on machining, reading blueprints, and a strong focus on quality.

Responsibilities include executing tasks through the build process, following a machine from start to finish, and utilizing common machinist tools.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Driver's license and Canadian Passport.
• Ability to travel to and within Canada, USA and Mexico.
• Proper tools for assembly and measurement.
• Understand basic measurement fundamentals.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot problems.

Responsibilities

• Execute tasks to ensure our products meet or exceed quality standards.
• Follow a machine from start to finish.
• Assist with other duties as directed by the Machine Build Supervisor or General Manager.
• Apply general machinist capabilities using common shop tools and equipment.
