Job summary

Fountain Tire Saskatoon is seeking a skilled Licensed Mechanic to join our team. You will diagnose vehicle issues, perform repairs, and complete scheduled maintenance with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Licensed/Red Seal status in the Automotive Service Technician trade.
• 2+ years of automotive experience.
• Strong knowledge of automotive industry and skills required to provide mechanical service to our customers.
• A diagnostic specialist that enjoys keeping up with modern technology.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills—Commitment to providing a superior customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction on a customer’s vehicle.
• Performing appropriate repairs with accuracy and efficiency.
• Completing approved service on customer vehicles.
• Testing and adjusting vehicle systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications.
• Performing scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups.
• Advising customers and associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements.
• Maintaining mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner.
• Supporting customer relationships by responding to customer inquiries.
