Job summary

Fountain Tire Saskatoon is looking for an experienced Commercial Tire Technician to operate a Tire Service Truck. You will work with a team to service a variety of tires for trucks, farm, and industrial vehicles, delivering top-notch customer service and safety on every job.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of tire service truck experience
• OTR/Industrial tire experience an asset
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
• Work can be unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc., and you must be ready for the challenge
• On-call after hours is required
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds if required

Responsibilities

• Inspect, install, balance, rotate, and/or repair truck, farm or industrial tires and wheels
• Operate a Tire Service Truck and support ongoing tire service tasks
• Provide professional and friendly customer service to amaze customers
• Adhere to safety guidelines to protect yourself and coworkers
• Take pride in the work, ensuring customers are safe on road, site or field

What kind of person are we looking for?

• We are looking for someone with at least 1 year of tire service truck experience
• Off the road (OTR)/Industrual tire experience an asset
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a satisfactory passenger or commercial Driver’s Abstract
• This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc. and we need someone who will be up for the challenge
• We need someone who can be on call after hours
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds if required
