Job summary

Fountain Tire Ltd is seeking a Red Seal Automotive Service Technician for our Vulcan location. You will diagnose vehicle issues, perform repairs, complete wheel alignments, and conduct routine maintenance to ensure safety and reliability.

The role offers competitive wages ($30-$40/hr), a $1500 signing bonus after 90 days, and comprehensive benefits. Ideal candidates hold a Red Seal, demonstrate strong automotive knowledge, and communicate effectively with customers.

Qualifications

• Must be a Red Seal in the Automotive Service Technician trade.
• Strong knowledge of automotive industry and Skills required to provide mechanical service.
• Diagnostic specialist with up-to-date knowledge of technology.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions on customers’ vehicles.
• Perform repairs with accuracy and efficiency.
• Complete wheel alignments on a variety of vehicles.
• Complete approved service on customer vehicles.
• Test and adjust vehicle systems to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform scheduled maintenance (oil changes, lubrications, tune ups).
• Advise customers on work performed and future repair needs.
• Maintain service equipment on a regular basis.
• Operate company and customer vehicles safely.
• Respond to customer inquiries to support relationships.

You will get to:

• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory driver’s abstract from province of residence on an annual basis
