**Job Description – 310T Mechanic**

Position Overview

The Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty equipment by diagnosing and troubleshooting regularly. The role requires managing tools and supplies to ensure the equipment is always operational.

Key Functions & Duties

1. Perform routine diagnostics and repairs on equipment using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments.
2. Inspect and troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
3. Operate and test equipment on-site and in the field to ensure quality and efficiency standards.
4. Perform major repairs to engines, electrical, and fuel systems as needed.
5. Create and follow a preventative maintenance schedule.
6. Conduct oil changes, lubrication, and tire replacements as needed.
7. Ensure timely entry of work orders and ordering of replacement parts.
8. Create and maintain detailed service and repair reports.
9. Provide high-quality work efficiently and promptly.

Required Qualifications and Skills

1. 310T licensed Mechanic (Construction Industry preferred).
2. 310T Certification in good standing.
3. Own your own tools.
4. Valid and current driver’s license.
5. Customer-centric approach in engaging with clients.
6. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work under deadlines.
7. Well-organized and capable of working under pressure.
8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
