Job Title: 310T Truck Mechanic at Votorantim Cimentos North America (VCNA)

Canada Building Materials (CBM), primarily based in Ontario, is a division of St. Marys Cement, leading in the production and supply of Ready-Mix Concrete and related products. We operate over 450 trucks across 40 plants from Hull, Quebec, to Windsor, Ontario.

To support our growth, we seek dedicated individuals for our Greater Toronto Area fleet maintenance team, specifically for repairing and maintaining our ready-mix truck fleet and mobile equipment.

Position: Full-time, permanent 310T Mechanics or 3rd year or higher 310T apprentices.

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle systems.
• Record repair and parts information electronically.
• Manage parts inventory and shop supplies.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment following safety and environmental policies.
• Organize work schedules in coordination with plant personnel.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Safety-conscious team player.
• Possess or be working towards a 310T certificate of qualification.
• Willingness to learn and share repair knowledge.
• Ability to work independently.
• Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license.
• Own basic hand and power tools.
• Transportation to various GTA locations.
