Job summary

Sobeys Acton is seeking a Meat Department Associate to deliver friendly, efficient service while preparing meat products for display and sale. You will uphold CFIA standards, maintain the department, and support customers with product knowledge.

In this role you’ll handle merchandise, assist with orders, and participate in ongoing training to ensure quality and compliance in a fast-paced retail environment. High school diploma and at least 12 months’ experience preferred.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Provide technical training to new staff and clerks.
• Assist Meat Manager/ Clerk Department in Second Meat if applicable.
