Walmart Canada is seeking a Meat Associate to join the Quinte West area team. You will deliver outstanding customer service while keeping the meat department clean, organized, and well-stocked, supporting daily sales activities and creating a fresh, inviting shopping experience for customers.

This role emphasizes hands-on work, teamwork, and a positive impact on every customer visit, with a minimum hourly wage starting at $18.05 and a schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Department Organization and Standards; keep meat department clean, organized and properly zoned.
• Ensure accurate pricing and signing; follow procedures for ordering, clearance, markups, markdowns, signing and labeling.
• Follow food safety and cold chain practices including temperature checks and product rotation.
• Prepare and serve deli products such as meat, cheese and fried chicken; use slicers and ovens safely.
• Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe environment.
• Be flexible with shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
