Thrifty-Foods Victoria is seeking a Meat Wrapper to provide exceptional customer service and manage the full range of meat and poultry wrapping duties. You will ensure accurate labeling, pricing and dating while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include product rotation, stock handling, and assisting with training junior staff, with opportunities to contribute to store sales through proactive customer engagement and merchandising.

• Wrap, package, price, label, and date meat and poultry products accurately.
• Keep work area clean and presentable at all times.
• Handle, organize, and rotate products according to standards.
• Record information in logs accurately.
• Execute programs and merchandising per company standards.
• Prepare deli products per quality standards and safety protocols.
• Promote products to increase store sales.
• Train junior staff as needed.
• Order and receive stock following inventory procedures.
• Maintain and prepare meat products for service, if applicable.
• Process department shrink and related tasks.
• Perform other duties as required.
