Job summary

Independent Grocers Alliance in Varennes, QC is looking for a meat wrapper to join our team. This part-time role involves handling meat products with care, weighing, labeling, and ensuring accurate price changes.

You will work daytime or evenings for 10 to 35 hours per week, with availability anytime. Prior retail or customer service experience is helpful, and a high school diploma or equivalent is expected.

Responsibilities

• pack, weigh, label merchandise and make price changes according to established standards;
• stamp the product (weight, identification, price per kilo, etc.)
• place merchandise attractively in counters and displays;
• promote sales by suggesting complementary and/or alternative products to consumers.
