Job summary

Independent Grocers Alliance in Shawinigan is seeking a Meat Wrapper to stock, weigh and price meat products, assist customers, and keep displays tidy. The role offers daytime shifts and a friendly team environment, with opportunities to learn about products and packaging.

You should have a high school diploma or equivalent and retail or customer service experience. Expect training, progression, and a flexible schedule with 30–35 hours per week.

What might a typical day look like?

As a meat wrapper, you will be required to:

• pack, weigh, label merchandise and make price changes according to established standards;
• stamp the product (weight, identification, price per kilo, etc.)
• place merchandise attractively in counters and displays;
• promote sales by suggesting complementary and/or alternative products to consumers.
