Job summary

The Root Cellar Village Green Grocer at McKenzie Corner in Victoria, BC is seeking a Meat Clerk to join our team. You will help with department prep, wrap and label products, and stock displays while upholding our standards for quality and freshness.

You must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and start morning shifts at 6:00 am. Training is provided; prior retail or customer service experience is a plus.

THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a Meat Clerk to join our Root Cellar team! As a Meat Clerk, you will be responsible for various duties include the cleaning and organization of the department, prepping ingredients for our many in-house products, and wrapping and rotating stock for our displays. Our Chop Shop Meat Market offers a high-quality selection of locally sourced fresh and cured meats and delicious value-added items made in-house using the freshest ingredients from our store.
