Peninsula Co-op on Vancouver Island is seeking a Meat Cutter for our Food Centre in Saanichton, BC. This full-time role offers 32–40 hours per week in a busy retail environment, with a focus on quality meat preparation and customer service.

The ideal candidate can work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and is comfortable training junior staff while maintaining high safety and merchandising standards. Competitive wage and benefits package available.

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, and prepare meat products for display and sale

• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas
• Support and coach new team members as needed
• Promote membership and department promotions

We are looking for a Meat Cutter to join our Food Centre located at 2132 Keating X Rd, Saanichton, BC. This is a full-time position offering a range of 32-40 hours per week.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE IS:

• Available to work any day of the week, includingmornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Friendly, helpful, and customer-focused
• Knowledgeable in meat cutting, product quality, food safety, and merchandising standards
• Comfortable sharing knowledge and supporting the development of less experienced team members
• Able to work independently while contributing toa positive and collaborative team environment
• Able to stand for long periods and frequently lift,push and pull up to 80 lbs

WHAT YOU'LL DO
