Job summary

Pete's Frootique & Fine Foods in Bedford, Nova Scotia, is seeking a Meat & Seafood Clerk to join our team. You will help customers, cut, weigh, and price meat and seafood, and maintain an inviting, well-stocked department.

We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong communication, and a willingness to learn. No previous meat experience is required—we provide training and support for growth, including evenings and weekend shifts.

What You'll Do

• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection and answering questions.
• Slice, cut, weigh, package, label, and price meat and seafood products accurately and efficiently.
• Create attractive, fully stocked displays that showcase the quality and freshness of our products.
• Ensure all products meet Pete's high standards for food safety, quality, and presentation.
• Share product knowledge with customers, including cooking tips and preparation suggestions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support your team with daily department operations and other duties as required.
