Responsibilities:

1. Act as point of contact with key stakeholders for Service business unit.
2. Manage, evaluate and prioritize the Business Information Solutions demand in collaboration with Core functions and Business partners applying an end-to-end view.
3. Initiate projects including effort estimation according to project management framework in coordination with other IT departments and external partners as needed.
4. Lead the creation of functional designs to improve or develop standard IT (Building Blocks) and services.
5. Translate needs into functional and technical requirements, ensure completeness of system requirements in alignment with Bombardier strategy, securing high quality standard.
6. Promote standardization, integration, and foster innovation.
7. Develop end to end understanding of business process, vision and it best practices.
8. Support the development, validation and evaluation of the BIS Solutions against requirements.
9. Elaborate solutions in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture and Business solutions roadmap.
10. Understand market trends and solutions, assess existing solutions against them and influence the roadmap.
11. Oversee daily operations for assigned area(s) and monitor sustaining activities, projects, and levels of customer service (e.g., performance metrics) for assigned area and report status, issues, and risks to immediate supervisor on a scheduled basis.
12. Provide technical guidance and expertise in troubleshooting problems reported by end-user(s) for assigned area(s).

How to thrive in this role?

1. Typically, 5 or more years professional IT experience in one of the IT functional areas, which could include previous IT project management experience.
2. Typically, 2 years of experience as a working lead and/or supervisor.
3. Experience with Maximo solution as a subject matter expert or senior developer.
4. A proven track record in the successful implementation of Maintenance Management System (MMS).
5. You have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Business, or a closely related field OR 3 years of equivalent work experience.
6. You have good verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
7. You have an ability to express technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
8. Proficient planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize, assign, and coordinate workload of team members within a multiple project setting.
9. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Ability to work well in teams.
11. Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
