Job summary

Metro Testing + Engineering is seeking students enrolled in an engineering program to assist in field and lab testing of concrete. The role involves testing concrete before pours, interpreting results, and preparing reports for project teams.

Travel to Campbell River and nearby sites is required. Training will be provided, and familiarity with concrete testing is an asset but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be a student enrolled in an engineering program at a post secondary institution.
• Interested in career in the Construction Materials Testing industry.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 23 kg / 50 lbs.

The opportunity

Metro Testing + Engineering is one of the busiest and largest Construction Materials Testing Lab is Western Canada and we have an opportunity for students who are currently enrolled in a civil engineering program at a post secondary institution. The person will be helping our lab in field and lab testing of concrete.

Concrete testing experience is an asset, but we will provide the training

Who we are looking for

• Good command of the English language.

• Experience as an General Labour/assistant is an asset
