EXP is seeking an Intermediate Materials Technician in Burnaby to conduct construction observations and quality assurance/control testing. The role requires close collaboration with project teams and involves both on-site testing and laboratory work.
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete, asphalt, and soil testing, along with a valid Canadian driver's license. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment are essential.

This role is part of the Soils and Materials team. You will collaborate closely with Project Engineers/Managers and the Discipline Manager to conduct construction observations, confirm construction material design elements, perform quality assurance/control testing, and report findings both in the field and the laboratory. Your time will be split between on‑site testing on project sites and laboratory work, with additional responsibilities assigned based on experience and proficiency.
Hourly range: $26 - $29/hr. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
