This full-time position includes on-site training and opportunities to gain hands-on experience in construction materials testing across Manitoba and Saskatchewan. The role involves field testing, sample collection, recording results, and travel to various job sites while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License is required.
• Able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Reliable, dependable, and willing to learn.

Job description

BMT Materials Testing Ltd. is looking for a reliable and motivated Materials Testing Technician to join our team in Brandon, Manitoba.This is a full-time position, and training will be provided. Previous materials testing or construction experience is an asset but not required.

What we're looking for:

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License
• Reliable, dependable, and willing to learn
• Able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors and at various job sites throughout Manitoba and Eastern Saskatchewan
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and a good work ethic
• Previous construction or materials testing experience is an asset
