Job summary
Octasic is seeking a Material Planner in Montreal to translate production needs into actionable material plans. You will manage material requirements, create and release Manufacturing Orders, and collaborate with Production, Inventory, and Logistics to ensure on-time delivery of components.
Fluency in French and English is required for cross-functional coordination. This role reports to Production Planning and focuses on ERP/MRP execution, data integrity, and continuous improvement across
Qualifications
- Education and experience aligned to operations/supply chain roles.
- Minimum 5 years in material planning or related areas.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and MO management.
Responsibilities
- Plan material requirements to support production plans.
- Create, plan, and release Manufacturing Orders.
- Monitor MO progress and resolve material constraints.
- Collaborate with Production, Inventory, and Logistics teams.
- Maintain ERP parameters and data accuracy.
- Develop KPIs for material planning and production execution.
