Job Description

The Scheduling and Raw Materials Planner is responsible for managing production schedules and raw material supply across multiple manufacturing sites. This role supports project management, enhances operational efficiency, and develops Supply Chain capabilities within the department.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Supply Planners to meet customer and business expectations through effective planning
• Manage production planning using templates and JD Edwards, including intercompany transfers
• Review and analyze production plans, capacity, and raw material requirements
• Develop production forecasts and monitor inventory standards
• Generate reports on supply planning and raw materials
• Act as backup for the Supply Planner and lead the Supply Review cycle when needed
• Coordinate with plants to improve planning efficiency
• Lead projects aimed at operational excellence and cross-functional improvements

Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, supply chain, or related field
• APICS or similar certification required
• Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus
• At least 5 years of experience in planning roles
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards
• Proficiency in MS Office, data visualization, and analysis tools
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions
