Job summary

Primoris Canada is seeking a Materials Coordinator to oversee site materials handling, shipments, and QA processes on large-scale projects. You will inspect inbound goods, coordinate offloading, and ensure accurate documentation and inventory control, while supporting HSE standards.

The role requires strong knowledge of pipe, fittings and valves, experience in heavy industrial manufacturing, and the ability to manage non-conforming materials, with camp-based accommodations and flights provided

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in shipping/receiving/stores capacity.
• Minimum of 8 years experience in heavy industrial manufacturing or the petro-chemical industry.
• Superior knowledge of pipe, fittings and valves.
• Familiar with “Bagging & Tagging” or “Kitting” process.
• Knowledgeable and experienced with a formal QA program.
• Computer skills and familiarity with QA documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site materials and shipments and act as main contact for materials questions.
• Oversee offloading of materials from carrier and inspect for damage/shortages.
• Document receiving inspection per QA and HSE programs.
• Identify non-conforming material and quarantine as needed.
• Organize and file receiving and vendor documentation.
• Update materials database and prepare materials for shipment.
